Firefighting has long been established upon the principles of helping those in need, these are just a few ways our organization continues the tradition.
Burned Firefighter from St Louis area
Schuenke is a firefighter from the St. Louis are who while attempting to rescue a woman from her home, fell through the floor and suffered from fourth degree burns. Firefighters from many areas have contributed towards her recovery effort. Donations for Schuenke can be made at any area First Bank or mailed to First Bank/Trust Fund, 1816 Highway A, Washington, Mo., 63090.
Team Trish
Trish Simon is a Firefighter/EMT with the Bartlett Fire Protection District who was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer in March. She is the married and the mother of two wonderful boys who are under seven.
Hurricane Katrina
In response to hurricane Katrina our club fundraised money to be sent to the disaster relief foundation. As many of you already know this was a major disaster that affected millions of people in the Louisiana Gulf coast area. We hope that the recovery will be rapid and thorough.
