South Chicago Heights Red Knights Il. 9

We are the South Chicago Heights, Illinois chapter 9 of the Red Knight International Motorcycle Club.  Our chapter was chartered in 2005 predominantly by members of the South Chicago Heights Fire Department who desired to become members of an organization that did not discriminate based on the origin of your motorcycle, and was as much of a social organization as riding crew. 

We are easily distinguished on the road because on the back of our vests is a fire department style Maltese cross, and many members have red vests.  Frequently on weekends you may see us traveling in groups just enjoying the weather, on a poker run, or on any number of reasons that we can come up with to just ride.

Remembering 9/11

- On September 10^th we will traveled to Springfield, Il. In honor of those involved in the 9/11 incidents.

Our meetings will now be held on the second Saturday of each month at 12pm at the South Chicago Heights Purple Heart located at 2646 Chicago Rd, South Chicago Heights, Il. The next meeting will be november 18, 2006.  Our November meeting location has not been decided yet please email us for details.  Hope to see everyone there.  Visitors are welcome.

How to join the Red Knights.

Membership is open to ALL firefighters, active or retired, volunteer, or industrial, who have access to a motorcycle and hold a valid motorcycle drivers license. Spouses, members children, boy/girlfriends are also welcome as Social Members
